Blessed Easter!

Happy Mother's Day!

Month of May Dedicated to Mothers

AND GOD MADE MOTHERS SPECIAL

By the time the Lord made woman, He was into his sixth day of working overtime. An angel appeared and said, “Why are you spending so much time on this one?”  And the Lord answered, “Have you seen the spec sheet on her? She has to be completely washable, but not plastic, run on diet coke and leftovers, have a lap that can hold four children at one time, have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart. That’s too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish.” “But I can’t,” the Lord protested. “I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick and can work 18-hour days.”  The angel moved closer and touched the woman. “But you have made her so soft, Lord.” “She is soft,” the Lord agreed, “but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish.” “Will she be able to think?” asked the angel. The Lord replied, “Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason and negotiate.”  The angel then noticed something, and reaching out, touched the woman’s cheek. “Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model. I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one.” “That’s not a leak,” the Lord corrected, “that’s a tear!”  “What’s the tear for?” the angel asked. The Lord said, “The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love, her loneliness, her grief and her pride.”  The angel was impressed. “You are a genius, Lord. You thought of everything! Woman is truly amazing.”  And she is! Women have strengths that amaze men. They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love, and joy. They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous. They fight for what they believe in. They stand up to injustice.
They don’t take “no” for an answer when they believe there is a better solution. They go without so their family can have. They go to the doctor with a frightened friend. They love unconditionally. They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards. They are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding. Their hearts break when a friend dies. They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.  They know that a hug and a kiss can help to heal a broken heart.  Women come in all sizes, in all colors and shapes.  They’ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you. The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning! They bring joy and hope. They have compassion and ideals. They give moral support to their family and friends. Women have vital things to say and everything to give.

The History and Devotion of the Rosary

Dominus Tecum (The Lord is with Thee)

Spreading the devotion of the Hail Mary, a true story in regarding of a devout woman by the name of Eulalia, who was very devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary. One day our Lady appeared to the holy woman. The legend tells us that the apparition said the following words:

Do not my daughter, be afraid of the fond Mother to whom each weekday you pay all homage in your power. But I caution you that if you wish the services you render me to benefit yourself more and to be more acceptable to me, then do not in the future pronounce the words (of the Hail Mary) so rapidly, for let me tell you that when you greet me with Angelical Salutation, I experience a great thrill of joy, and more especially when you utter lingeringly the words Dominus tecum (The Lord is with Thee) The delight I feel then is more than can be expressed in words. For then it seems to me that I feel my Son within me even as He, true God and man, was with me when he vouchsafed to be born of me for the sake of sinners.  And as this was an unspeakable joy for me at the time, so is it now when Dominus tecum is said to me in the Angelical salutation.

The same twelfth century British museum manuscript which speaks of Eulalia also tells of a man who, every time he passed Our Lady’s altar, “had the habit of saluting her with reverence and saying, “Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee.” Another factual account speaks of St. Louis, King of France, who knelt down fifty times each evening in prayer. Each time he stood upright again and then knelt down would slowly pray an Ave Maria.

Rosary Conference call to

celebrate FOUR years!

On July July 21, 2019 will be the great event in celebrating four years of the Rosary Conference Call. The success of the daily Rosary conference calls has perpetuated with the 15 decades of the Rosary said throughout the 48 months without being broken. The devil tries to interrupt the Rosary in different ways but it could not stop us from praying it. There is no question it is the Will of Almighty God and the guidance and protection of Jesus and Mary otherwise it could not lasted this long. It is because of the members who are dedicated and have the devotion, faith, humility and love towards Jesus and Mary that keeps this Rosary group going. It is in fact though, it pleases Jesus and Mary how we pray with devotion and love in praying the Rosary. We might be a small group of people but we are powerful in the eyes of God, asking Him to bring down the many graces and blessings upon the world and us.

That night, we are going to dedicate the Rosary in celebration.

We will update you where and when the RCC members to celebrate this event

May Jesus, Mary and Saint Joseph bless all those who have participated and in support of the daily Rosary in time and eternity!
